Skógafoss

A short film about mental health starring Martijn Lakemeier (‘Marie Antoinette’), Gaite Jansen (‘Babygirl’) and Anneke Blok (‘Winter in Wartime’).

‘Skogafoss’ for me is a story about love. Not just the beauty of it, but also how love can hurt and isolate you. To the point where you forget to see the beauty around you. To really make the sacrifice tangible, we needed a mesmerising location. And it doesn't get more impressive than Iceland.
